TV: Sony 40" X Series

Fronts: Orpheus Aurora 3 ver3

Centre: Jamo E6Cen (soon to be replaced with matching Orpheus, but suprisingly is a decent match for the mains)

Rears: Dali Concept 1's in cherry

AVR: Marantz SR6001

Power Amp: Rotel RMB1070

CD: Yamaha CDX596

PVR: Pioneer DVR-550-HX-S

40GB PS3

Xbox 360 Elite

Pure AV cables + Dali Blue Wave 4 core speaker cable for the mains, 14awg OFC cable for centre/rears (all bough at jb's staff price, no way would i pay ticket for this shit) Pure AV 8way Surge/Isolator board

Some random entertainment unit from Harvey's. 2.10m wide. looks nice, plenty of room for components.

Excuse the ugly futon. Audio > Seating. :p

Awesome setup BFM.

I missed out on checking it last time I was in Canberra. Will try to next time I'm around. I'd love to hear the sexiness.

EDIT: Is your HD-DVD player in the setup too?

What lol?

Anyways I stuck em to the wall with hot glue and 3M wall mounts for backup if the glue fails.

The glue BTW, has not failed yet so I think it's a goer.

The walls are concrete and a bit rough though, so it's easier to stick.

and besides bluray > hddvd. well now atleast

I really don't know. My Blu-ray player died today. Posted about it in Console Games.

So instead I watched a couple of HD-DVDs. What are you doing with your HD-DVDs then?

sold them with the player. was almost bummed about selling the player because it was good at upscalling, but to be honest i reckon the ps3 does a better job. and the funds went to the power amp, so not only do i have better sound, but i have a better hd and dvd player, albeit uglier.

ye there great u dont realy need a sub with them since they have a pretty good low end

Yeah, too much low end is often troublesome.

I usually turn off any subs when I'm mixing and just put them on at the end to make sure you're not going to blow up anything on a system that uses them!
