Atomic Superpi Scores V5

Recommended Posts

This is my best so far, give me a fortnight and some time to play and i'll have nukejockey's record

Reaps 9.797

Impressive work :)

Is that a 24/7 overclock, or a one off?

it would be about as stable as a bridge made of paddlepop sticks.

Yeah that's about right, I can get it prime stable at 4.2 overvolted to 1.45 vcore but for 24/7 I leave the vcore at 1.25 and clocked at 4.

I've actually done a better result since then

Reaps 9.578s

should hit 5 next time I bench, might have a crack in the morning when the ambient gets down to 6 degrees ;)

I worked out how to get 22x multi on my i7, I will be trying for sub 9 seconds latter on today :D

I thought a lower multi with higher bus speeds was better for SuperPi..

Unless you've reached that limit already?

my chip will post up until about 230 base clock but it wont get into windows past 214 :( also my ram craps out if I add just 1mhz over 1699mhz (which is pretty good for budget ddr3) so I needed a higher multi to lower ram speed and equalize this with a higher clock speed since 1400mhz 9-9-9-24 is no good for super pi and anything over 1699mhz will result in my ram chucking in the towel.

edit: if anyone else with an C0 i7 chip wants to know to get 22x multi set active cores to just 1 in the cpu tab in your bios.

even more embarrassing to know I did it in the middle of the day without a cold morning ... ;)

I think eva2000 has run under 9's anyway but he has not updated his score here ..

Also you can now validate @

Apparently the validation at xtremesystems has not been working for some time now.

Made the jpg file more readable.

2nd fastest AMD entrant. Nothing to sneeze at.

Well done.

Thanks for the validation link tip too.

Yeah, I think I need to possibly rename the sections. It's an Athlon but it's based on the same core as Phenom II's. That's why I put it there.

Look forward to some 955 results!

Bundywow - Nice time. In future could you make the screen shot a little bigger? I can only just read the important bits :)

Not really Mark. Bundy's CPU is actually based on the 9500 I had before so it's definitely NOT a Phenom II.

@ Bundy, I'll be interested to see how the 955 fairs against my 940. If need to, let the DDR2 vs DDR3 wars begin. :P
