Did you know?

Recommended Posts

I read about it a few months ago. Done inside the transistors of a processor between two dual cores. No articles have been really written yet because intel and amd dont want people to know.

Discuss.

Discuss what? Your claims of something you heard? And just because companies don't want something doesn't mean articles would not exist. How did you hear it? Got links?

Done inside the transistors, eh?

Technical.

Well you know something to do with it copying the key over in the cpu..... something a scientist would have to answer.

All I know is that it works and has been done.

No because really the entire worlds security could be in trouble. And I aint linking shit sonny jim. Could be illegal ya know? Edited by quantumreflux

I heard it's possible to create gold by banging two pieces of wood together. I would post them evidence and link some more information but I wouldn't want to get the entire world's precious metal industry in trouble, it could be illegal ya know.

YES! I've heard of this, crazy interesting stuff. I don't know all the hard tech details, but a guy I know (mayhap the same guy that ChrisG knew? Who knows...) did point me in the direction of the general theory behind the whole gig.

Essentially, by diverting the pulse flows away from the base of the pipeline as instruction sets are passed into the core, SFALP (Super Fine Algorithm Layer Poking) can be employed to remove any truncated bits from the encrypted message and leave only the raw data. Supposedly, once you have this, it's just a matter of setting up your own transistor rig capable of accepting logic patterns in the range of 1900Hz to 2400Hz and you can translate the raw data into readable chunks.

Well hey, it's about as feasible as what you've presented!.....

Nope. It is more feasible.

im sure your all scientists.

We'll im guessing some of you are.

Just go figure it out yourselfs then get back to me.

So give us something more credible than "I hear about this a few months ago".

Yeap and I read how its done in code. But this isn't a programming thread so im not going to discuss any code.

But what if I am right even though none of you believe me.

How in shit would the worlds security be?

trying to put myself in your perspective in the fact that none of you believe me: im really interested to know what you guys think it means, and they are not saying....... Your all scientists/smart minds......

To me it seriously means the internet is prematurely and permanently fucked right? We'll cos they already sold too many dual cores and +?

Its only dual cores that can do it.

A hardware error. Sold to millions of people.

Doesn't happen in the software. Happens inside the hardware. Copys the Key.

Security-system failed cos we outdid ourselves again lol.

This is bad-arse information guys.

Guess I trust you even though some of you are hackers.

Wouldn't, they'd just move to 1024 bit encryption.

FFS, what you are getting at is similar to saying "But God is real! My preacher done tol' me last year!".

'truncated bits' ? That was damn near believable until there.

Nicely done, A4E. You should write government press releases.

I reckon it's about as much a crock as a girl getting pregnant by watching a 3D porn movie.

I'm guessing how to construct a properly researched, sufficiently detailed and coherently put-together post is not one of those skills they teach in 8th grade, but the "ooooh, why are you guys asking all these questions, can't you just believe me" schtick still is.

I'm a girl you ignoramus, not a "sonny jim". And why would it be illegal to link to an existing article? Sounds like a cop-out. Not to mention complete crap.
