Steam Specials Thread

I googled too. Must not have used the correct search terms.

On a side note, I would caution everyone against buying Saints Row 2. I've had nothing but issues with it.

First, crash on new game. Unplug game pad fixes it.

Major major stuttering now, runs fine for a whole of 5-10 seconds every 5 minutes or so.

Issues that others have been having are the game running too fast. Constant crashes. General crappiness....

Worst damned buy so far...

Yep. One of the worst console ports in recent memory.

I paid $90 for it at EB, and now take an hour out of each and every day to stare bitterly at its garish yellow box in the hope that the sheer magnitude of the black, concentrated hatred pouring from my eyes will ignite it and char its worthless contents with searing, white hot flame.

So far nothing, but if worst comes to worst there's always my trusty Zippo.

I bought it the other day when it was $3.50 but haven't even downloaded it yet. I guess for $3.50 I wasn't expecting too much, but it'd be nice if I could get at least a few hours out of it.

I wish that I could have gotten into it. But the game just felt so terrible with the aiming and movement.

Just felt like a second rate game. Oh well.

I challenge you to find a game with better weapon ballistics or map detail.

I'll agree some stuff feels a bit old school, like character models and animations, but theres so much more to it than the graphics.

Movement, to me, feels the same as just about every other FPS out there.

I'm not talking about graphics.

I played it not long after it was released.

It just didn't feel natural . Aiming was just so off it was irritating.

Just couldn't be bothered with it because of that.

Really? You don't like iron sights?

I cant think of any other game that pulls the weapons off so well.
