What makes an awesome party?

Recommended Posts

Oettinger is a great value beer. It's got a much better taste than similarly priced beers like Hollandia, Bavaria etc.

It was $40 per carton of 24 500mL cans at Woolies Liquor last I checked. That's an equivalent of about $28 per regular bottle carton or $170 per 50L (size of most kegs).

Boozle says the price has gone up to $42, so about $31 equivalent for bottle or $175 for 50L (keg).

Yeah, I love Oettinger, we'll definitely have some of that. The other one that used to be pretty good was Hansa (not Hahn). It's another German beer that I used to be able to get from BWS for $40 a case (500mL bottles).

Also any idea on where the best place to buy bulk alcohol is, I normally get my stuff from Dan Murphy's but I'm wondering if there is anywhere better given that I'm buying large quantities and have a decent lead time. (Sydney locations).

whats this hangup on booze? Just get some non alcoholic drinks (save tons lets say $800) and you can put that towards more party stuff. a band and a dj with smoke machines lights disco balls. maybe get a couple DDR arcade machines or something i dunno.

it's a party........not Sunday school.

Too right. Plus I intend on getting pissed on Jaegermister and Blue Label.

Dan Murphy's is generally the best you're going to do unless you're buying $50K worth of booze.

Hansa, eh? Might have to give that a go.

*EDIT* Whoa. $70 a carton at Dan Murphy's. /hug Oettinger

Heaps of cheap booze, heaps of ganja, and NOS. Maybe throw some coke in there too. If you can still afford maybe lots of big soft cushions to throw around and pass out on?

Hmm. :P

get a jumping castle

Jumping castles and booze don't go well together. Plus it's an indoor event, and $600 is a bit to much to spend on a novelty like this.

What about first choice liquor superstore, are they any good? Yeah, looks like the price of Hansa went up (but it's still only $65 at FCLS).

Alcohol contains the sedative drug Ethanol though =P

Elicit drugs I mean. Alcohol is alright as long as they are over 18.

Oh ideas on what sort of First Aid kits I should be getting for this?

I figure a generic domestic kit will be fine, but at $100 it might be a waste of money?

Shouldn't the camp itself have the required first aid?

Rob.

Yeah, I asked them about it. They have one, but we're supposed to bring our own.

The scout hall has a First Aid kit in the case of emergencies, but the people organising the camp + food + beer (we) need to bring a first aid kit too.

Great looking girls!

Yeah, pretty much all the dancers are hot, and there's a fairly good female to male ratio.

If you're planning on having a really good time, Pulp Fiction has taught me you need to have a massive fuck off needle of adrenelin and basic knowledge of where the heart is.
