[Looking For] PC Case - Opinions please.

Recommended Posts

So I'm looking to upgrade from my current case, a mATX variety. It's far too small for me, and just doesn't do the job properly.

In terms of what I'm looking for:

- Under $200

- Functionality (able to house an ATX board comfortably, good build, all the features and nick-nacks)

- Cool temperatures

- Silence (Not a must, but it can't sound like a jet engine taking off either)

- Plenty of room (preferably full tower size, or close too.)

I've looked at, so far:

P182

NZXT Whisper

P193

Antec 900

Antec 1200

However, I'm sure there is some case that is fantastic and combines all of these cases into one, or at least closely.

If possible, a design along the lines of the Whisper (I'm drawn to it, and would buy it for its looks, despite flaws). Weight isn't an issue, I've got carryalls and a trailer in the backyard if need be.

Thanks in advance for opinions.

900 is a noisy case. 902 should have been the one you were looking for instead because it has fan controller knobs.

Have you looked at the Lancool cases?

Fractal Design R2?

Well 'aesthetically pleasing' is in the eye of the beholder. But here's a personal fave

aliali did a little Atomican style review of it: http://forums.atomicmpc.com.au/index.php?showtopic=31656

A side window is always nice, but not required. I really like the looks of the P193, and the frontal design of the Whisper.
