Since i had my pc case open, doing some troubleshooting (im now 100% sure, my pci-e 1x slots are both dead....) i thought id chuck up a quick pic.

keep in mind, this was taken with my nokia 6120c mobile... its pretty crappy quality...

a few changes have happened, havent changed sig yet, will get around to it:

items removed:

1x 640gb hdd, replaced with a 500g drive.

1x creative xfi titanium pro pci-e x1 sound card (both slots are dead, which means i cant use it atm.)

1x 2gb corsair xms2 DDR-2 800mhz ram DiMM.... (Dimm_O slot died.... grrrr now down to 6gb which apparently is still in dual channel mode o.O)

items added:

1x seagate 1tb sata 2 hdd's

anyways here it is!

Photobucket will let you resize when uploading.

Shame we can't see the pic too well. What's that yellow light up the top?

I think thats light(camara flash) reflecting from the poster just above the pc... its one of those slippery when wet car signs (extremely reflective), that

councils use on dangerous roads/ damaged roads....

So is the heatsink of the V8 is a shit design or is it just an incapable fan fitted?

It looks quite efficient to me.

Nice and bright, I can't get my camera to do what I want :/

I gotta like read a guide or something for it :/

It's a Fuji Finepix S1000 10megapix 12x optic one. should take great pics of pc, I just suck at getting it to work well with artificial light.

Thanks, it gives me a bit more insight on taking pics of my UV setup.

I'll grab more batteries for the camera and use a makeshift tripod and see how I go

I seem to recall Atomic had an article about how to take good photos of your PC, but that was many years ago.

One of their tips that I used was to take two shots, one with good room lighting and one with almost no lighting to show up your PC lights.

Then you merge them in Photoshop so you get the best of both worlds.

First one was with a 1 second exposure, I set it up on my little tripod and used a timer to take a photo.

Second one was with a 30 second exposure. As yu can see, it made it look like my PC was going to explode, it looked so cool I had to post it :P

I have a feeling that the link bushi posted is where Atomic got their fairly recent taking better photos of your PC.

Worth flicking through again.

Its the same with the HAF X, you just don't notice the door warping as much because its steel and has indentations in it.
