this how the Radeon 7970 originally was sitting, dont know if you can tell from the photos, but the middle fan clip of the DH14 was touching the back of the card.. pcb only, not on any transistors, but a slight nudge got me worried, so i moved it down to then 2nd x16 slot as seen in the first photo.

I had a problem with the Corsair 600T so I took it back and then bought an Antec P280. I really like the case so far however the fan controller on the back is pointless the control buttons/sliders are so small and hard to get to they are a pain and useless. But I personally have seen no difference between high and low settings on fans. My temps may rise 1 or 2 degrees but nothing worth bothering about.

Intel 520 series 120GB SSD

Nice drive, that.

Windows is really 'snappy' and BF3 loads in 10 seconds even on SATA II. :)

This is the best I can do for now... shit lighting + phone camera.

I'll try get something better when I can be bothered unplugging and pulling the case out from beside my desk, taking off the side and getting a better shot with brighter light.

Exterior and dark, crappy ass interior pic. :)

NZXT Switch 810 white.

It's the best case I've ever built in.

Previously I only used Antec cases, but this case was so nice in comparison.

Supreme build quality, and quite a number of nice little features. :)

Oh and the white, I went with it for something different.

I was looking at a Corsair 600T white, but they had no mounts for the H100 from memory?

Not yet due to laziness and lack of better lighting with this shit weather.

If I can be bothered tonight I'll drag it out into the kitchen right under the bench lights. :)

looks sweet man nice build ,

with regards to the 600T there's enough room to fit a 2x120 rad up top of the case

with the fans under the top mesh thingy

too late now but meh.

yours looks sweeeet :)

Yeah, I didn't want to do through mesh or anything... I wanted to do it all properly. :p

Plus the Switch 810 is a full tower case... big and open so Crossfire doesn't turn the case into an oven like my old Antec P193. :)

edit

new mb is going well 4.8ghz 1.35-1.38v seems stable and standby is working at the moment so far this thing hasnt failed to post once! although the auto oc did feed my cpu ~1.8v for a 4.6ghz oc thankfully i checked it the moment it booted

cpu temps topped out at 50c during occt

power use has sure dropped since running gtx480 sli

the system is now using 79-90w while idling vs 150-200w before

this system with the 7970 was using ~150w idle till the new mb arrived as i can now run sound threw the igp hdmi the 7970 can fully downclock which isnt possible while it has multiple monitors attached but i still dont think the gpu can power down fully leaving the igp to run the desktop

edit2

been playing with the fan speed software control and have a number of fans turning off at idle then slowly revving up as cpu temps go past 30c

tempted to change the pump tho the mcp35x so that i can use cpu pwm to control it to make the system quieter at idle and drop ~10w more power use

Nice build Dasa and I thought I would update my build.

I installed a H60 today so fair it is awesome compared to the stock cooler.

Stock cooler was sitting at around 80*C during prime95 the H60 has brought that all the way down the a max of under 55*C which I'm super impressed by.

Thanks katalyst and the H60 was really easy to setup.

Just a case of screwing the fan and radiator onto the back of the case attaching the backplate putting the block onto the socket and screwing it in using thumbscrews.

The pipes for the cooler were very stiff at first but they seemed pretty strong.

Nice setup justo. Youll have some fun with that.

On a side note how 'loud' is that case? And related to that what have you done in respect of additional fans?

Cheers.

Cheers.

Its noticeably louder than an antec p280, p180 and sonata 3. Its not horrendous. Its mainly the graphics card fan that comes through.

I chose it for the cooling factor rather than noise levels.

Haven't added extra fans. Doesn't need it yet. When I sli and over clock, maybe. But I don't think I need to worry to much about it

Somebody is a Battlefield 3 addict.

I would buy all those products again without the bf3 theme ;) but they were the same price

Cool. I've been holding back on water for a while. Think I'll get into it when a bit more money comes through.

justo316- Show that BF3 love. ;) It's an awesome fun game, regardless of the problems.

Yeah that H60 cooler is awesome, especially for the price. I've put it on a few clients PCs now and it works a treat.

My stock idle temp with the Intel cooler was close to 50deg. With the H60, UNDER LOAD, I hit 50.

Nice build Justo the Antec Eleven Hundred has extremely similar internals to my P280 at first I even thought it was a P280! It's a great setup though.
