The next picture will...

Recommended Posts

Very nice image Nukejokey. I am quite a sucker for old and rusted metals, and I really like the overall effect of your image.

Now, to hopefully get this moving...

The next picture will be phased

I couldn't get the type of photo that I wanted for this, so here is a phased moon.

Well, not quite phased.. It is more going through a phase. The partial lunar eclipse in June 2010, a very surreal image when viewed through the scope.

Far away

This is from the Jacobs Creek visitor centre in the Barossa Valley, South Australia.

Coming from Sydney I had never really appreciated the beauty of this type of land. You really do start to appreciate the scale of the land when you see the endless fields and houses which are just a small dot on the horizon.

Photo of a moss/fungus type growth on a tree, wasn't actually part of the tree. Thought it looked kind of cool though.

The next image will be (and forgive me if its been done before, I haven't been through this whole thread) metallic.

It took me a while to figure out the right settings to capture this one in the National War Memorial. I'm still trying to get the hang of this whole photography business.

Edit: I always forget the next topic. So. Um. The next photo will be saturated.

How very ominous. I immediately thought of the priest getting impaled in the omen, and started looking for a lightening rod.

And a sweet set of knobs it is.

Just your usual Bolivian minig supplies store - dynamite, pure amonium nitrate, fuses & ciggies - oh, and those the bottles are 96% alcohol - for drinking.

The next shot will be stunning.

Poppies adorn the nameplates lining the National War Memorial, the names of all australian war dead evoke a stunned silence from the visitors.

Very nice photo there Kommando. It would definitely be a stunning experience to stand at those walls.

Woodgrainy

Walking along a track in Morialta conservation park, I saw some grafitti on one of the stumps.
