Apart from Tool and Rammstein...it's a pretty shitty list in my opinion.

Lessee here....

Tool played in 2008, and the album they were touring was three years old at that point. Pass

Iggy played in 2007 and he wasn't that good

Grinderman and Andrew WK I would see, but i would regret it afterwards

Rammstein's latest album I haven't heard, but I know they market it with dildos.

Yeah, im thinking Rammstein and Tool sideshows if Tool release a new album

And here I was thinking the exact opposite to the OP.

Rammstein is alright, Tool is fucking horrible but then my gaze wandered further down the list and saw LCD soundsystem, Bloody Beetroots, Crystal Castles, Black Keys, Bliss N Eso and Pnau. It's tempting. I've seen Pnau once before and it was awesome.

RATATAT would be the only good thing since Tool was only hear a couple of years back.

Tool and Rammstein for sure.

Old Deftones is ace... really haven't listened to anything even remotely new of theirs.

Give Die Antwoord a listen on You Tube, they're pretty cunny funts -- no idea what they're like live...

Don't mind JBT either... Haven't seen the new band.

LCD are back! They're finishing up touring soon apparently.

I missed them at splendour. I hope they do a sideshow!!

But there's not many that interest me in the lineup so far. Have to wait for the second announcement.

Birds of Tokyo I've seen like 3 times now. Karnivool playing again next year would have been good, but I suppose Birds have a new album out.

Soundwave looks a little tempting but I just don't listen to most of those bands.

+ I fucking hate the fact that all festivals server mid strength drinks. Really ruins the whole thing.

DEFTONES!!!!!!

:D :D :D

Haha, I love Deftones as well. I want to sex them so bad.

Also really like Rammstein. Their latest album is actually pretty good imo. But the other bands don't interest me at all.

You bet I do!

Check out Dredg man. You'll dig them. Go listen to Orph, then Lietmotif, then their newer stuff.

Sydney BDO #2 27 Jan (bring a friend for free) = I'll now prob. be going.. Sweeeet.

Once there, Tool (9:15-10:30pm) & Rammstein (8-9pm) are musts - have resolved to see both of them live ages ago but never able to until now.

I'll also be seeing:

- The Snow Droppers (5:20-6pm) - seen them before @ a pub in Newcastle, great stuff.

- Iggy and the Stooges (7-8pm) - it'll be good to see Iggy live.

Also interested in the Deftones (4:20-5:10pm), and my mate rates Regular John (3:20-4pm).

Not really interested in any others, will probably just allocate times prior & in between those for: Beer, Water, Chill, Sights, Scenery.

DEFTONES!!!!!!

:D :D :D

Indeed :) I saw them at a BDO and I really liked them. Infact that list I could say there's about 8 bands that I'd really like to go see! Not a bad line up :)
