Perfect.

Now I know I'm gonna start saying this a lot, so here we go with the first time:

NO CRASHES. Care on the first corner and during overtakes, please be careful. If you've just got the game and aren't great yet, please don't make a hero lunge down the inside on the first corner - you'll just take several people out and generate ill-will.

Thanks!

If it's a wet track I can't guarantee anything Ben :)

I'll be grateful just getting around the track without spinning hehe

Question: For each round are we doing one practice, one qualy then race for each?

The goal is the first 3 races of the calander year.

So start practicing, Bahrain, Melbourne, and Malaysia.

Sweet. I'm pretty comfortable with Bahrain so Melbourne and Malaysia it is.

I must admit I have melbourne and bahrain down.

But oh my god I hate Malaysia.

None of the quick set up's cut it. I think I will need to find a custom set up that works for me

Please don't make it too late.

From 5 at the latest or 5.30 would be OK.

That's just me though.

Some people have mentioned that is too early for them. Is 7pm too late for you?

Ahhhh.. Yeah should be right.

Just trying to workout a plan, just gotta get up early usually so don't want to be up too late.

How long will 3 tracks take do you reckon?

Wait till you try Catalunya...., that or it's because I'm driving a Lotus.

Tried Singapore before they broadcast the race last week so I knew what the drivers were going through, that's quite a hard technical track to get around quickly.

Singapore is a PRICK of a track.

@Lambo - If you have enough interest, perhaps run two grids (with a reliable host on grid #2 that doesn't have fail internet, seeing as you'd be in grid #1), and whoever can make it at whatever times can run in it, and the others can run in grid #2? I dunno.

It's going to be quite hard to please everybody and keep the grid as full as possible.

Also, why three tracks?

Why not one long race at 30-40%, then announce the next track and give people a week to practice it using no race-line.

Seems a little more logical to me.

Maybe even race them in order of the 2010 season...?

I'm just used to long 20-30 lap races from iRacing on one track for a whole week. Where the races are at set times, and the rest of your time is spent in open-practice, running the track with other cars, learning the track, perfecting your lines/braking points/accel points, etc. :)

Yeah I'm down with that. 2 groups with an even amount of people perhaps?

But yeah, hour and a half- even two hours from 7.30pm should be no worries.

I have considered it, but the problem is that one race per weekend, is 19 weeks to try and complete a season, and I guarentee you we will not finish a season if we do that. Just ask Ben when we ran the V8 supercars 2.

So what is the workaround to have two cars for each team in multiplayer?

I can only ever seem to see one person per team.

Since we have decided what teams we are driving for if we are forced to use another car, the points will still go do your designated team.
