Do you guys use software much or do you prefer to fiddle with knobs? I'm nearly 100% hardware based, mainly because I don't know much of what can be used when it comes to software. I have heaps of synths (analogue, FM and modeling) but I rarely connect them to sequencers, I prefer my hardware to be a box that does it all. At the most, sometimes I use a synth to control the inputs of a sequencer, but I don't even like doing that. I like to edit the MIDI manually and hardly ever record in real time! How 'bout you?

Ironically, when the computerisation of music was in its earliest days, I was on the bleeding edge of using midi-enabled PCs (MSXm anyone?) to do sequencing and sampling.

But these days, I'm almost totally analogue.

Go figure.

Pete Townshend would be rolling in his grave if he could hear you clowns.

He's not dead yet.

(although, he may as well be!)
