Sandy Bridge overclock video on GIGABYTE P67A-UD5 and general info

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I did a quick OC video for GIGABYTE P67A boards. It gives you a rough idea how to go about it quickly and painlessly. Hope it helps.

This particular video was done with P67A-UD5 but all the boards are just about the same.

cool video dino!

i can see this helping alot of people who are getting a sandy bridge system soon! (not me,i just got a x58 rig,see sig)

love the black colour scheme (a x58-ud7 in black with the creative audio chip would be awsome)

keep up the good work!

Thanks mate. I have a GA-P67A-UD7 on the way and this was really helpful. A nice spoiler for what i have in the mail. I think we should get a 'Sandy bridge overclocking thread' going.

You hit 5.2Ghz pretty easy i didn't see, but what Vcore did you use to get that?

And whats the music i want it, it's relaxing :)

Nice vid, Dino.

It looks so nice, but I think I'll make the jump from bloomfield when socket 2011 hits.

Amazing clocks on low voltage though! Jebus!

Thanks for remembering us Atomican's :D

I'm waiting until the end of this year too. Do you know why they look some virtualization tech away from the K series CPU's?

hey fellas

Actually the vcore is not reported correctly in CPUz so if you look at the video you will see I applied 1.5v for 5.2GHz runs

Music > Joe Santriani man :D

would you mind doing a video for a 4ghz (or higher) air OC on a i7 950 on a UD7 rev2 board,please dino?

would make it easier when i come round to doing it.

and very nice music man,joe S is awsome!

Read one of the thousands of guides out there man, its not hard.

You can't just copy BIOS settings anyway, you need to know what most stuff does before you go playing around with it, so that if you can't get stable clocks at same settings as someone else, you know what to play with to get it stable.
