Harmonic Cacophony 0 Posted June 11, 2012 Got it for five bucks. Me very happy. I bought that a few years ago (when House was still good). Lots of great info on Hugh himself, the info about the show is a bit unecessary though, just recaps of every episode or something. Bought myself some jeans today since my other couple of pairs are ruined. They're not the same as the ones I know and love, but they're close enough.

Guest xyzzy frobozz Posted June 12, 2012 I recently moved to Perth and didn't have an intertubes connection, so I had to go to the local library to organise all the stuff you need to organise when you move. I was waiting for a phone call and had some time to kill, so I picked up a new book they had in - Black Holes, Wormholes and Time Machines. I started reading and was so engrossed I stayed for a couple of hours reading. I've always been interested in concepts of time and space, but many books on the subject are pretty heavy going. This one is written for the complete beginner. Really looking forward to it arriving.

gabber 53 Posted June 12, 2012 And every true fan knows Empire was the best film. Now I'm a fan but I'll admit to liking (not loving) the prequels (for me the order from best to last is; 5, 6, 4, 3, 2 & 1). But that quote is gospel. New wheels/tyres front and rear and a new body shell...

TheFrunj 30 Posted June 14, 2012 Two days off time in lieu (Friday and next Monday). Not really a "Purchase" as such, unless you count time.I didn't buy a new camera, which isn't a purchase either, but theoretically it makes me up a significant amount of money, so both of our non-purchases are equally noteworthy in a purchase thread :P

EDIT: Whereas you are referring to the purchase of a physical object with currency (e.g. Cash) either electronic or physical.
