2 of these USB3 cards, VIA VL800 chipset models. Chosen for molex connector (vs floppy or sata) and solid capacitors vs electrolytic.

Those are electrolytic caps.

They're just in a package that some silly IT geek has named "solid" :P

An Led Lenser L7 torch from these guys:

http://www.yourhomedepot.com.au/products/l...cm-132g/torches

Yes, it is just a torch...but it is the best one I've ever had! At a pretty good price, too :)

Dude, as the owner of 5 LED Lenser torches, I concur with your sentiments exactly. They rock. Enjoy your L7.

Here's hoping I don't come home with another one today...

Should receive it by the end of the month (which is handy, as I'll use it in August). Bought it off ebay, to avoid paying the Australia Tax.

Nice, I have a P14. Great for blinding people semi-permanently...

I bet you wish you could chuck it on what ever gun you use in BF3 to blind enemies (or just for lols - team mates)?

I think the flashlights in BF3 are bright enough already ;) (Should have a troll squad where everyone runs flashlight attachments on all guns....sure to piss a lot of people off.)

As of last night (a few hours ago mind you) a preview ticket to see Pacific Rim at IMAX Sydney.

(Not a purchase as such, but a gift from a friend that had a spare.)

I'll post a pic after the event as proof.

I cannot believe people want to see that movie.

I cannot believe people want to see that movie.

What makes you say that?

The preview certainly ticks all the boxes for a great Saturday night action flick.

A couple of plane tix to Belgium. Looking at pushing out the return date by a couple of days if we can since we just found out Fat Freddy's Drop are playing at my GF's old fave gig venue in Brussels (Ancienne Belgique) :D

It just looks bad, Aliens from a portal that's in the see. Lame looking robots, lame portal robot voice chick. Lame end of the world fight or die speech.
