Sydney Photomeet anyone?

Recommended Posts

Would anyone be interested in doing a photo walk around Sydney, probably some time around late March? Maybe walk around the city, get a few photos and bounce some ideas off others?

I've never done this before, so if anyone else has suggestions please go ahead.

This may change if there are other / better suggestions, but for now I'm going with:

Date: Saturday the 2nd of April

Time: 12:00 PM

Starting place: Outside of the GPO, Martin Place.

Ending time: Whenever people want to go home.

Change the starting place to the Lindt Cafe, Martin Place! :D

Since its a weekend, go down to the rocks and you can get pics of all the nut jobs.

Two things: Firstly I'm going to a wedding so I can't come and secondly that happens to be election day in NSW.

Bugger, wedding and voting doesn't mix. But I may be interested if this is moved earlier or later. Definitely the 26th is a no no so far.

Date: Saturday the 26th of March

Time: Around lunch

Starting place: Outside of the GPO, Martin Place.

Ending time: Whenever people want to go home.

Hmm, voting doesn't actually make it a bad day to do it, may even make it more interesting...

but then of all the days it happens to be the one I have to go to Canberra.

Ok, 26th of March is out by popular demand :)

How about the 2nd of April?

Or an evening? Say meet up around 6ish in the city on a Friday night? I am happy to do either, or both!

2nd of April is doable for me. Friday evenings is also doable if we're doing dinner and night shots.

It sounds like a lot of fun, however, I will be back home in Adelaide that weekend.

If I weren't going to be on a to-the-minute schedule there, I'd be so up for that. Adelaide is a great place for hunting wild photos!

I am locking in the 2nd of April as it seems a few people are interested :)

I'll give out a number via PM to anyone who is interested so that we can meet up in case anyone can't come until later or wants to group up.

Also, if there is an Adelaide walk, I could be interested in that too, depending on when it is.. I have a few trips there planned over the next few months and it would be another great way to see the area.

A bit of a bump, and I have put up a meeting time of 12:00. We can always grab something to eat while walking around.

For anyone who is interested, PM me and I'll give you a mobile number in case people want to meet up later.

Pending weather, I still hope to get this going on Saturday, possibly doing something every few weeks if there is interest.

Saturday is currently showing a shower or two, so shall see how the day goes.

Well, it should be fine according to the BoM. So I should be there.

Good morning

I have had a few things come up today which means I won't be able to get to the city.

For anyone that was still interested in going, I hope it's a decent day for you.

We'll have to get something organised for the next few weeks.. Maybe something on a friday night?
