Gigabyte GA-P67X boards

Recommended Posts

Hey all

I was browsing PC Case Gear this morning, and came across some new boards

- Gigabyte GA-P67X-UD3 Motherboard B3

- Gigabyte GA-P67X-UD3R Motherboard B3

The UD3 especially is a lot cheap than the other P67A boards

Both boards support SLI, unlike any other P67-UD3x boards

Here is a comparison of the two UD3 boards

Apart from 16/8+8 and SLI, I'm stumped

EDIT: The X has 4 SATA 3 ports on the board, where as the A has 2, and the X has a USB 3.0 header

Also, the P67X-UD3R has Firefire, and some called a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) header

2ND EDIT: The X don't have eSATA on the back

looks like my reply is a little late but

ud3 normal have a weaker vrm and going by the pic that one is no exception

probably be fine for ~4.5ghz 24\7 ~1.3v but if you want to push for closer to 5ghz ~1.4-1.5v id say it may be worth spending a little more

saluy fairly much all mb have onboard sound inc the ud3 but next to no atx mb have wifi built in but then thats why they have lots of slots so you can add one
