Corsair H80 & H100

Rather a pathetic performance for the price. Specially when you look at the price of the XSPC kits and the expandability.

Really needs a price drop.

I'll be mounting mine inside a lian-li PC-A04, I'll be posting pics once it's done if anyone is interested.

what a H100? whats the point a proper 240mm watercooling setup would be much much better performance wise for the same price.

But... effort! I've never been interested in water cooling before because of all the maintenance and actual plumbing involved. But now that it's as easy a few screws, I want to give it a try.

your missing the point though, 240mm of radiator is not giving you any discernible benefit over a 120mm one... Edited by nesquick

I've have looked at going the whole setup, but finding somewhere for the pump was the main concern and the extra tubing to go with. By the time you've brought all the individual parts I've exceed the price of the H100.

Why go 240mm over a 120mm rad, well why not :)

^ why's that nes? Would have assumed it did, but know bugger all about w/c.

In the case of the H100 it doesn't, since the rad is thinner than that of say a Khuler 920 but takes up twice the footprint.

If it was real watercooling then yes a 240mm rad would be more desirable.

hmm be intresting to se ehow you fit it in that lian li case as i have one and man, mounting a rad in there will be a pain!

plus ive done real wcing. so so so so so much better, but impossible to fit in this little case, rad would have to be external or mounted on the side panel.

The plan was the mount it to the roof and hang some fans off it but after I had mention it in here the other day I went back in and had a closer look, the fans will foul on the ram sticks. So either I'm thinking mounting the fans on the outside or mount it in the front and move the hdd bays back.

Shall be fun to play with when I get it, pccg has bumped the eta back to the 19th.
