Nope. Dr Frank Howes i think it is.

 

and this isnt a corneal transplant, this is kerarings. mines not far enough for a transplant yet so tey're putting rings in then Cross Linking with riboflaven so it cant progress.

 

hopefully i never need an actual transplant.

 

Yeah hopefully you dont! its no fun at all.

 

You're probably out of surgery now, hope you are holding up well!

orcone: yes, vision is a brain thing! Believe it or not, you can have perfectly well functioning eyes and the wiring in the "let's make sense of this input" part of the brain doesn't work (for a variety of reasons). For example, some folks can't see vertical edges - weird, I know

My mother in law has a damaged optic nerve... her eyes work fine, but she is blind!
