Total novice here, no special camera or gear. Went on a holiday to Coober Pedy last year and had a go.

The first two are just shots of a trendy guy on the jetty at Pt.Germein (South Aus.)

I like the last one too.

Quite a good version of one of my favourite image types - winding roads.

I'm liking the last two, very nice shots :)

Your horizons are slightly off in a few though :\

Nice sunset in Adelaide tonight (taken quickly with work camera -Ricoh G700SE GPS) - not focused and flash went off but this was the result:

I saw it from Norwood but had no camera. Well done. I am hoping to get a few of an Orange moon tonight. Moon rise about 11:13 pm

Hmm, it is raining and the moon is behind clouds :(

Jetty picture: Crooked. The horizon should always be... horizontal. Otherwise not bad. Good lines.

Scene with desert pea flowers: Crooked. Composition is strange, there's this narrow strip of sky in the top fifth of the image, and the grassy scrub seems like dead space. I'd have cropped it out and focused on the flowers more. Rule of thirds is your friend.

Shot from down low, looking up at kid: Good. I like this one a lot. I'd have framed it with the kid slightly left of centre, since he's looking off to the right. Good image though.

Fence and road: Crooked. It comes across that the road being in the picture is accidental, it's way off to the side. I'd have moved myself towards the road more, and used a wider angle lens. I like what you were going for though.

Generally, I would clean the images up a little if I was going to share them or print them. Noise removal and colour correction should be your first port of call. Bring up the black levels just a smidge to give the images a "crisper" look, and bring down the highlights just a smidge to put some colour back into the sky.

This is all part of the learning process, and you're definitely off to a good start! :)
