I do wonder whether my cynicism re this woman's claim is because of her prior health history of cancer. Like I said that entails some crippling costs both mental and financial ... so you know it has me wondering. So I don't think she was after a get rich quick scheme so much as reimbursing her bank balance after her cancer bills ...

I assume the opposing legal team would have been making that argument, and the judge would have taken it on board as part of their deliberation.

Yes.

Of course it was a neat trick by her legal person/s to use on the court. I mean really there was no need for an explanation of what she did pre the carwash trip, imo... but you give that added info to pull on the sympathy strings of the judge is always worth a shot

I mean, if that kind of trick is so easy to get working, our judges are bad at their jobs and the entire system is pretty fucked up and we should just give up on the courts as a whole.

The ambulance chaser lawsharks still try every trick even if 99.9% of the judges wont bite,

"hey you never know"  "its wortha shot" "it might just work this time"

being the thoughts behind it.

They have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Like a soccer player grabbing at their leg like it has been nearly snapped in 2.

They get paid regardless.

It varies by state but here the worker's comp insurance automatically covers the legal bill of the employee claiming regardless of win or lose.

Though with extra parties involved, NFI how it works from their perspective.

It's not about giving up on them.......................most judges live in La La land and haven't been connected with the real world for many, many years.

Most judges live in their ivory towers as well, they are elites and mix with elites and the occasional pedo Catholic friend.

every experience is different for every person

ptsd is a real thing

that's my observations

how the law comes into it is a completely different and bizarre thing, but from personal experience, sometimes it seems to do the right thing

PTSD is indeed very real, and very frightening. Whether a payout is any use in ameliorating the effect, that's a different story but society is for ever trying to put a price on things that are not possible to materially compensate for.

Cheers

When I first came to the Atomic forum to sign Up an account , I put the details

Email addy, user name, etc etc as an entry in an Index book , you know the sort ,

a cut out along the for each letter of the alphabet, and a few pages for each .

I only just got it, cause was sick and tired of forgetting login details , and them

days hot mail or yahoo addys were as disposable as tissues.

Atomic is the first entry, in the sad old book pages yellowing and coming loose.

I put my discord details as first entry in the new book.

I been thinking when I start transferring the still active logins to the new book.

I am going to put my Atomicmpc details in it, i know its not practical cause  its

non functional,  it just feels like it should be there.

This the same but the red bits are electric blue on the new one Size is A7.

Hey if you got this far reading this I gotta ask ....

Don' t  you haz better things to do with your time.

 hehe 😎
