Black Mesa Source Gameplay Leaked!

Recommended Posts

Here it is, in all its sexy glory. Really makes me want to play through Half Life again, for the 10 millionth time.

Now if only the bastards would hurry up and release the damn mod!

It's always been a mammoth undertaking for a mod team, it's not just the textures, models and mapping most of it would have been AI scripting and definitely game play, TBH, I never thought they'd get this far...

I still don't know how much is left to do, but as is the case with mod teams it's done in spare time and drop outs and times with holes in the team are a constant.

Sweet. I saw a few screenshots a month or so ago from their Facebook page, but it's a lot better seeing actual gameplay. Can't wait :-D

Yeah, I agree.

Was really hoping we would have seen more official videos and stuff from them, considering its been in development for the better part of 8 years.

From here for those that have SpamBook, err I mean Facebook

And some screenshots from the game that were released 2 months ago. If anyone here doesn't have Facebook, I'll post them individually here

*droools*

Wow that does look good :)

It looks like its not too far off being polished enough to release(fingers crossed) soon.

Damn straight that makes me want to fire up HL again, but my daughter is 3 chapaters into her first ever play through (gota love steam summer sales) and its been fun watching and helping her through.

8 years in dev, but it most certainly looks worth the wait.

I wonder if they're doing a similar thing as when Atomic had a photo gallery for it, and then it was pulled...

WE HAVE A DATE!

September 14 2012.

Bear in mind that this will be up to the Lambda Core part of Half Life, they will still be working on Zen and BMDM for the time being.

You get motion sickness? Any particular reason? Is it the only FPS you've gotten nausea/motion sickness from?

s.t.a.l.k.e.r did it for me, half an hour and i thought i was going to puke.

If you remember Zara wrote an article for atomic about her experience with it:

Not that uncommon.

I've only gotten weird sick/dizzy feelings from really narrow FOV (ie: Most modern console ports)... can't handle it.

Half Life 2 had more than a few moments that induced a bit of mild nausea in me. I know there have been others but that's the one that stands out.

It's the final stretch, just over 24 hours until this gem, with over seven years in development, finally released to the world.

Slated for an official release time of 12:47am SYD time on Saturday morning.
