The guy that took this photo moments later watched the vehicle with all his belongings disappear ... thanks to Harvey.

Leslie Mann there looks like she's done that before. Rebel Wilson does not.

Why are they even ...?

<shrug> I have no idea. The event they were at was something to do with the release of "How to be Single", so maybe it actually is what it looks like. Or, maybe they're just catching snowflakes...that nobody else can see.

When I saw that pic ^^ my brain just said ... " oh dear, she doesn't realise her tampon is hanging precariously :( "

...That's rather large for a tampon, wouldn't you say?

Pretty odd shape regardless, imho. Putting my zoom lenses in, it looks like a set of dingleberries on a very warm day, except that they'd have to be one behind the other - rear one higher.

(If it was real, I wouldn't give it more than a glance. Because it's obviously fake, I have to figure it out. Stupid brain!)

Was about to say "morning glory?" but that's Sydney... had the big dump here that just finished up about an hour ago... it's been like 2 days of looking like it was imminent and it finally dumped and barely lasted 2 hours.

it's a shelf cloud; they happen here not infrequently ahead of big cells moving through

not quite as common from the south, usually west or nor'west in my experiences

there was a major thunderstorm at ~ 0500 today on the northern beaches, that reminded me of living in darwin - visibility was down to ~ 100 metres (streetlights across the park, but otherwise just sheets of water)

most impressive thunder i have heard for a very long time, and a few good strikes, but mostly just sudden whiteness through opaque rain

Haha yeah wrong colour too for a morning glory. They tend to be massive fluffy mainly white tubular wonders

Must have felt like heaven and sooo refreshing after the heat.
