Recommended Posts

I ve been looking at getting an nvidia card soley for dedicated physx with my amd card as the main was thinking of one of these

I gave it a go a while back with a GTX260 along with my main setup of 2x GTX465's in Sli.

I found it just didn't end up making much difference at all, I think there was discussion on this here a while ago but i cannot remember the conclusion.

A GT610 is too slow for physx it will actually make the performance worse...

What games are you playing that use physx?

i don't understand what you're trying to do but get at least a 640, otherwise it's a 400 series card

then it's a case of finding a card that doesn't vent back into the case

for bastion and how he has his ares 2 setup it's not much of an issue - he has the side of his case off

in my case though i don't want it venting inside my case - so i need closed unit and venting out the back

(and yes i have an ares 2 too)
