Doesn't someone on here own one of those?

many do probably.

i'd either get tri-fire 7970s or dual with a custom WC loop.

three 7970 is only $1155 so that leaves you plenty left over for a nice water loop and a good 1kw psu

kinda funny that three 7970= the price of one titan or gtx690 yet performs close to two of them

I can understand it for someone who wants the power of 2 7970 ghz edition cards, but lacks the space, but the price:performance ratio is just ridiculous.

It obviously wasn't bought solely for performance reasons. Imagine if you owned an old Voodoo-era graphics card that was set up exactly the same. You'd know it only lasted 5 years but even now you would hold it with admiration.

It's not just a GPU, it's a piece of cultural PC history.

Yeah that's fair enough I guess.

Sometimes it's nice to have nice things.

DualGPU 7970 cards seems to have horrific microstutter in the latest tests, sadly

any amd cf setup will without some kind of fps limiter will have it

its nothing new its always been this way and its only just recently that nvidia has mostly fixed it
