Android is lame.

Bah.

OK so you'd think it owuld be pretty easy right, browse to the NAS, pick a playlist and/or song and go, but Nooooooo, that'd be too easy.

So I put ES filebrowser on and I CAN browse to the NAS, if I select a playlist I get a 'file not supported error' on whatever music software I pick, awesome.

So if I go to a particular folder, it might have 10 songs in it, I can play them individually but not all the songs on the folder in one hit.

So is there software out there where I can play my .m3u playlists or at least play all the songs in a folder without having to go back and forward after each song?

What're you using to play music, now?

On the tablet it's either es player, or googleplay.

Pretty sure the NAS isn't UPNP, the next one will be. :)

It's just a pain that I can play one song at a time but not a whole folder....

get ubuntu touch, that will fix everything

Noskcaj, instead of just saying that it will fix "everything" give director specific reasons as to why it is better and why he should convert the entire OS to Ubuntu touch.

Just saying it is better is exactly the same as an iphone user jumping in here and telling him to buy an iphone.

I've heard MX player is pretty good but haven't bought it myself.

I did a quick search and dug these names up too.

Mediahouse might be another option, it's a UPnP/DLNA browser and will stream most stuff.

Bubble UPnP might work too.

ES File Explorer + Rock Player Lite

Android is not lame, purely for the number of different solutions which are at your disposal. :D
