Wireless issue.

Afternoon people

 

Issue i have tonight is i just reformatted the entire computer and now its all been snapped back together and shit theres no wireless connection.

I dont have a network cable and im not able to hook it up to the modem at home. I have a laptop im using but the issue is i need drivers to get it all chimming and i dont know how im going to get those or which onces i need to get from the Asus website.

Help please.

You can download the drivers on to the laptop then save them to usb or burn them to cd or dvd to transfer to the desktop PC.

As for which drivers, you need to know what hardware and wireless card you have in the PC.

Lets start with the model of the Asus.

Whack your model number into the ASUS support page, hit drivers, download them all, run them one by one.

 

You clearly have internet, even if its just your phone; use USB tethering, or a memory card reader to get the wireless drivers.

They'll be INTEL or ATHEROS most likely; so you only have to download one file over a phone connection. Though it should be clearly labeled.
