Bios never loads the raid screen....

Recommended Posts

Seriously, i'm sighing at this. I reset the BIOS back to optimized defaults (which i've done a few times now) and changed the memory to its XMP profile and changed from AHCI to RAID and guess what, no raid screen when i turn it on and no raid when in windows.

and i'm at a loss, had a look on the ROG forums about my board and there saying make sure you have it on the right ports which i do since it was working this time last night and make you have it to set to 'force bios' which again i do annnnd no dice.

i'm not sure what other setting i need to play around with to get it back working, and i think after im done i'm gonna buy myself an early chrisi present and grab a 1TB SSD...

Try leaving in AHCI mode. You may well be using software RAID (unwittingly).

Last night it was three restarts then i tried a full shut down then it worked, i'll try again tonight to see if i can get it working via restarts only.
