Not bad prices!

Its actually a dollar cheaper than Microsofts RRP!

This is tempting me something fierce.

The ability to lay in bed with a full windows tablet, but have a laptop at the flick of a switch.

4th gen processor, so playing SOURCE games will be a breeze (DOTA2 and TF2 are all I need)

MicroSD port easily accessed..... nice....

The only thing that makes 0 sense to me, is why the bloody hell we have a display port, and not a micro (or, full sized) HDMI!

They do look really sweet. I'd like to get one as a work machine. It would be so portable.

I'm considering asking work to get me a surface 2 or 3. Would need at least 250GB SSD and 8GB RAM to run my work apps.

Don't even bother with the 2 if the 3's around the corner. i5 250 was the good price point I believe. It gets silly when it becomes an i7.

I was talking about the Surface Pro 3 on here recently, I was asking about getting a decent review. I want to highlight that the Surface Pro 3 is poorer for gaming than the Surface Pro 2, it is throttling the speed of the CPU / GPU sooner, I guess because it is thinner.

Take a look:

I'd state it is better to get the lower end models or even a Surface Pro 2 if you want a bit of gaming.

This review has turned me off Surface Pro's for now, thankfully saving me a $1,000 or so.

If you get it, I wonder if a cooling pad could be rigged up for it.

I do have the Surface Pro 2 and it's still a formidable piece of gear. I use it a lot for my teaching and the other teachers are also thinking of getting it to replace their desktops. The 3 is only great if you need portability in mind.
