HTTPS is not secure

Yeah old news, we moved on.

Either stop using the net or accept HTTPS was built with a backdoor. Your 2 real only options.

 

I am surprised it calmed down so quickly. I expected riots. At least from banks and the army and what not, against the USA.

HTTPS is secure. Thread title is misleading.

 

If the server has its private keys stolen, that's not a weakness of HTTPS, that's a failure on the part of the owners of the key.

 

If a HTTP session is intercepted using a man-in-the-middle attack (by a party not having the private keys), the certificate's fingerprint changes, and this can be detected. That functionality is core to SSL, and hence to HTTPS.

 

The only "backdoor" is that people can be compelled to make the private key available.

 

Furthermore, as per FUCKING usual, the video linked by fajw cites no sources, and has no links for the scaremongering it's doing.
