What a f**king joke.

Indeed.

" half their wages paid for "

This is a supply problem, not a funding problem, Scummo, you fecking idjit.  Employers are not having issues paying employees - the employees are not turning up!  They're either hiding under blankets, down with the lurgy, or dead - mostly the first.  Paying half will do exactly nothing.

What's going on, they running out of people to harass to taxes?

Simply put: Yes.  Oh, they can still chase us for money, but you can't get blood from a stone - this end of town has nothing left to give.  For a tenth of the effort, they can tap the big boys for ten times as much.

Only issue is rich people get lawyers to negotiate down their liabilities while we cant' afford the lawyers.

Pandemic and Adani still want to sell their bloody coal ... to who?

And oh look

Quote

Adani gave $4000 to the Liberal National Party in December, on top of the $25,000 it has donated to the party since April 2017.

Last year party leader Deb Frecklington promised to freeze royalties for a decade and fast-track approvals for mining projects in the region.

The two are not related of course just pure coincidence.

Bloody corrupt bastards.

even worse is how cheap they are to buy

if you must get bribes, ask for lots

that's sarcasm; if there's $29k visible, i would guess it's the tip of the moneyberg

Given that just about anyone with money can buy  into Australia, I'm not surprised that should try and distance themselves!

Everyone lives MYGOV that government portal which works so well. So the government is adding MyGovID!

One new feature they are planning is using facial recognition to authenticate the user.

Given the issues Apple had with FaceID on their products, yeah good luck with that one.

It's just the same meetoo security wank that Apple, Google, MS have gone through.

2-step verification.  I turn it off largely because it's just a huge pain in the ring.

Then they make it worse by the fact the txt often takes 2 minutes to arrive or doesn't arrive at all.

And farcial ID, probably just about as dodgy as fingerprint readers.  No thanks.

And it's a sneaky way to get an image of your face if they don't have it from a drivers license or passport!
