Thunderbird and Email Messages

Recommended Posts

Just wondering how to backup the emails (and folders) that I have? As I've looked thorougly through the menu and cannot find the 'export messages', however I had no problem exporting the Adress Book. .

Is it under C:/ EMAIL? As a lot of the *.sbd file are empty, especially 'Inbox'.Thanks

Export is the command you're looking for.

Just a future tip; this is where 'Portable Apps' are awesome.

No 'extra bits', so you just copy paste the entire folder (program and all) and have a backup!

Portable Thunderbird is pretty up to date :)

I use a program called " Mozbackup" ,it backups everything in the Thunderbird settings too. It also works on Firefox too for Cookies and Bookmarks.
