As the title and poll states: Do you use a Microsoft Account to log into Windows 8(.1)?

I'm using a local account at the moment.

I do. Simplifies syncing across multiple devices.

How do you find it?

Anything quirky about it or does it just work as advertised?

I guess it 'just works', because I don't remember any Win8 fucking around related to my account.

Ah, fair enough.

Good to hear i guess.

I havn't used one due to privacy concerns, but it does seem like a decent idea for multiple Windows 8 devices.

Windows account. Desktop and laptop are running the 10 technical preview, work tablet is running 8.1 Syncs my stuff nicely across all three.

Haven't had a single issue, unless you could "Your pc is offline, please log in using the last password you used" popping up and having to put my password in again when it's offline.

I don't know anyone who actually uses a Microsoft account for logging into Windows...

I also use a local account. Got a few customers who use an MS account to log in.

I think Microsoft did a good job with the whole onedrive thing and using a live account.

Think it is awesome! :)

Local, as it complains if you use VPN, asking to verify your account.

Created a Microsoft account I don't use for anything other than this.

That's interesting.

I'm still on a local account. I'm not really sure there is much need in my case.

Laptop runs Ubuntu, desktop runs Windows 8.1.
