:)

The entire Easter myth was evolved by some cabal on acid who once they came down went and founded Cadbury, after some years they span off a few other chocolate brands and then diversified into diabetes medications....

I told a retired bishop that once and he nearly had a cardiac arrest from laughing too hard :)

Cheers

Yeah. What kind have Easter eggs have YOU been eating?

I haven't - yet, the entire weekend is a commercialisation of a long defunct religious festival that has a dubious history in the first place, might as well call it as it is and define it as celebrating chocolate :)

Cheers

But eggs do not come out of rabbits ?

Yes they do. That's why it's called the 'Easter Miracle'. God so loved us he made rabbits lay chocolate eggs.

What has me baffled is that the eggs me and my siblings found hidden in the family garden were not covered in ants.

Granted I'm talking easter in cold Victoria ... never the less ants be ants that like food.

You couldn't hide an egg, be it coming from a rabbit or a chicken, up here. The ants would be waiting for you to let it go...

I actually went to church today - it was pretty packed; there are still heaps of people in Australia who identify as Christian.

Religion aside, most people don't get a four day weekend often. Many families travel and spend money on touristy stuff, so it isn't a complete loss to the economy. Plus stress related mental illness is way more costly to the economy and to individuals than any alleged lost production over holidays. The time off is necessary to allow people to recharge.

If anything, we need more holidays!

Thanks man!

Yeah life is now very different compared to the adolescent time where I frequented this place last.
