*sigh*. At least Director understands me.

Apparently our minds are both at the same level of diseased. :)

Which has its own level of terror :)

(Someone find silver bullets and stakes and hammers whilst I keep them occupied, not sure what we are dealing with here. )

:)

Cheers

I first heard it in ~'82, as an Italian brand of suppositories.

Jesus, what a question. :(

I have managed to basically fuck up my life. Wasn't that hard.

BUT, I have found out why I am like I am. A while ago I was diagnosed as Bipolar. It explains so much. I have been a cunt to a lot of people.

My dad died in January this year.

January last year I walked out on my wife and kids.

Divorce went through on Friday.

I was conned by another female. She destroyed me, Emotionally and financially.

Tried to drink myself to death but ran out of money.

Too gutless to take a big pile of pills I have stashed.

Trying to find the strength to continue on living but by fuck its hard most days.

Apart from that, plenty of other shit that isn't worth the effort to type it out.

"If you're goin' through hell keep on going. Don't slow down if you're scared don't show it. You might get out before the devil even knows you're there"

Its a tricky life, and its easy to make mistakes.

The mistakes are only real if you put a full stop after them.

If they're mistakes now, but you work toward bettering something, then the mistake was simply the tripping point that threw you into a new, better, event.

...K....

So the pills go down the toilet and then you start putting the pieces back together, not easy, but necessary.

All I can say is don't dwell on the past too much, It cant be changed, do what you can to make now better, even just a little bit and then just a little bit more.

I wish you the best hulkster.

So, well, I just decided to see if this thing still existed and it does and there was this thread right here and so hello again, I guess.

In the last 10 years I finished a degree, went back and did another degree, still didn't want to leave education so went and did a grad dip in education and am now a high school science teacher, but have been sticking with relief teaching for the last few years because it turns out I really don't like "real work" (I love teaching, but screw all that other shit like report writing and meetings and not being able to take a day off whenever I please)

I got married a few months ago, that was pretty great. We have a nice little house filled to the brim with a fairly crazy amount of animals (well, I know people with about two dozen cats, so compared to them I'm not crazy. We only have three cats, and one dog that is the size of 10 small dogs, and chooks, and ducks, and bees, and an eel and a fair few other fish, and some lizards. That's all. I'm not crazy.)

That's about it. I remain, as always, argumentative and whingey. I'm one proud SJW, always fighting the hopeless cause.

Wow. Great to hear you are doing good Megz. Place hasn't been the same without your argumentative presence. :)

This is interesting reading.

10 years ago I left for Norway with $1000 at age 20.

Today I'm married, own a house and have 2 fantastic children. I got through university studying in Norwegian and was offered a great well paid position before I graduated. I'm currently employed as a systems engineer. I can read, write and speak fluent Norwegian.

Like everyone I have my ups and downs. Life is good most of the time and sometimes it sucks, but that's just the way it is :)

I live and work in Norway but am still an Australian citizen.
