the atomican child of ravenclaw

Recommended Posts

Hello! atomicans  I'm a super geek/nerd 😄 I like reading like any ravenclaw would I hate on fortnite and love minecraft I like playing video games on my pc  think the benny hillifier is cool and having the unnecessary ability to stuff lots of marshmellows in your mouth all at once is a sign of superior intelligence and I like singing silly songs about being ripped apart by badgers and the death stick and stuff like that. I'm the young son of two atomicans. can you

guess which two?

  • Yes Sir! Very atomic! 1

Hi Raven101!

I was very pleased to meet you and your Atomican Mum & Dad today 🙂

Now I’m sure your parents have read you the Atomic rules, but the important one is “Don’t feed the trolls”.

welcome to Atomic...

Hmmm, I seemed to have lost my Spongebob avatar. You will have to find a cool avatar Raven 🙂

Enjoy the rest of your time in Mexico!

Marshmellows were never my thing ... smarties on the other hand ... I could manage serious amounts of those all at once ... to my shame and delight, I still love a smartie, and I have been known to accept the modern day version the M&M

Hello! atomicans

Welcome aboard, youngster!  Everything floats down here - including the Good Ship Atomic, startlingly enough.

I am reminded of a joke.

What do you call a Greek parachutist?

Condescending.

Errr... what happened?

I think Cybes thinks you implied that he was condescending. I can see why.

Beware young Raven, some of our members might be better suited to slytherin 😉

Cybes maybe needs to reread your Post,  Leo. Sometimes you read what you expect?

I reread it the same way.

As you can see from other posts, I read that as a thinly veiled slur, not a joke. Given your bewilderment at that, however, you apparently didn't  intend that.

Sorry - invective withdrawn.

The comment was about floating down - ie parachutes. So the joke came to mind 🙂

hehe — actually, the reference should be read as "everything floats down here", ...not "everything floats down here".

Yep, knowing the reference made Leo's joke seem like a stretch... I can see now how the alternate interpretation is possible if you haven't read It, thanks @~.

Also, welcome to the madhouse of derailed threads and other wonders, @Raven101

I think that's not unique to Atomic.  It's a rare thread anywhere that stays strictly on-topic for long.  Even science threads I've been in are like "Now, it should be noted that - OH, LOOK, A BIRD! - er, oh yes, noted that..."

And yup.  People have guessed correctly.

Ultimately, lots of parental censorship going on.

But his posts are his own.  His opinions are his own.

His punctuation tends to be someone elses.
