Really near future is get my knee working properly again. The sooner the better.

I broke 3 bones on my right hand and took forever to get it working again. Hardest part was working the stiff tendons.

I jump out of bed every morning, have breakfast, and give the reaper the middle finger

but there will come a day when he will claim me

Overlord. Southern Hemisphere Division.

Crikey ! Make sure to take your vitamins ... also when diversifying one really needs to get the full eight hours sleep a night too ...

Weclome and hello Henry Pineapple .

Curious to know what inspired your name ... that would be my most immediate goal 🙂

In a bit under two weeks my body will be exactly double the age I thought I would live to. My mind however will never get there, I am destined to die young regardless ... my goal is to live and die before the socialists fully take charge

Oh? When's that, you reckon?

We've been getting hammered into the dirt for forty years; it sure would be nice if that turned around.

You're actually not enjoying the opposite of socialism, you know.

Neofeudalism blows chunks, no argument. Extra baubles for the spoilt isn't worth a damn next to the squandered potential it costs, or even half a rat's arse, for that matter.

mmm . nothing worse than being told what I enjoy / feel / need 😉

Thing is Kimmo, I really think the other lot, what ever they  believe they are today, would be even less " enjoyable " .  Labor has lost their way and with that, their strength.

As you can see Henry we have all types.

We even have some who because of a decade of little growth in real wages, want to abandon the system that has delivered real wealth and growth to the poor and middle class for a century, and instead implement a system that hammers people into the dirt and has done so for for 171 years.

my goal remains breathe in and breathe out - every other achievement is a secondary one really

i'm doing a heap of stuff, and enjoying lots of it, but "goal" sounds a bit overly concerned with the destination rather than the ride, and i'm pretty chill with just being

if i have to name the aim it would be "keep smiling because existence is pretty amusing on so many levels  when you consider it"

I guess, its hard to keep up with the world. Cost of living is through the roof and then sometimes I cant be bothered to get up. I would have to pull myself up by pulling my hair to get up 🤣🤣🤣

Go easy on the hair Henry Pineapple ... it helps to keep the sun off and the head warm :P  As the years pass you will appreciate this .

I forgot to hit the switch for my alarm last night  . I managed an extra ten minutes sleep this morning ;)  it does mean I can't be hanging around here just now though ... I've a half litre of coffee to guzzle

i'm protected from being pulled by the hair by my present lack of it

apart from balding, i gave myself a #3 about a week or so back, and there's no length to grab (above the navel anyway; i haven't yet become "fashionable" below)

Silly me, assuming you'd dislike shit like all the productivity gains of the last forty years going to people we never meet, Australian workers being made to compete with slave labour, shredding all the wilderness to pillage for obsolete commodities, legislation in all sorts of areas being dictated by special interests in exchange for a few cushy jobs, a media landscape utterly dominated by evil filth, and of course I could go on and on, but let's just jump straight to the impending collapse of ecosystems over the coming decades.

Naturally, there's a mile of propaganda designed to convince you that all these problems, plus gulags and whatever, are socialism's problems too, and there's no good system to be had so we might as well let the billionaires go on raping us. But just ask yourself whether all these problems are more or less likely to be solved by a system intended to align people's interests with the collective interests of all people, or by a system that intends to maintain a large (and growing) underclass, utterly subservient to the whims of a tiny cabal of insane scumbags, who have the people's supposed representatives dancing to their tune at every turn.

Labor actually looked relatively decent at the last election, although still too gutless to stand up for refugees or push back against 'national security' secrecy and overreach... Pity Australia's Trump threw $60b at hating on Labor, on top of the standard background of wall to wall Murdoch bullshit. They only just lost, but now the gumption that went into those policies offered at the election has totally evaporated. Albanese is a fucking piss-ant. I'm not talking about Labor anyway, since calling them socialist has been more and more of a stretch ever since the coup in 75.

Socialists haven't looked like being in charge for that long. To blame them for anything happening here today reveals a susceptibility to demented right wing propaganda.

Slave labor situations have been occuring in this country pretty much non stop regardless of Government . Our Queensland Gov. is Labor. They be the ones who've given the go ahead to Adani .

Again all these issues are there regardless of Government, and if you could pull your head out for a moment you would see that the reality of it is not media hype. This system will only maintain a large and growing underclass if the Opposition stop working.

And imo, all the pollies suddenly feel too entitled to really do the job they were voted in to do, cos regardles of which side of the fence they sit on they think they are enttiled beings ... and that's because some fucking fruitloops said pollies should be paid more  than us mere mortals ... ffs.

Labor lost cos NOBODY wanted that piece of media whore Shorten to be the PM ... and also cos Labor isn't fighting for the working man/women/child any more. Labor pretended to fight for refugees ( illegal immigrants ) till logic took over

...actually the Opposition doesn't know what it's supposed to be doing really ...maybe you could tell them... instead of telling me what I like 😛
