e: This is at work. We've got a 1Gbps Telstra pipe into the office. Serves a whopping 20 people. Admittedly we're on youtube most, if not all the day :p

Now I wonder how much the company pays to have that sort of connection for the office......

Anyway, here's mine:

You bloody Australians and your decent ADSL / Fibre / Cable infrastructure. Our UFB network is still being developed / agreed...

I get about 10MB/s down and 650KB/s up on a 60GB plan.

LOL

I'm sure this result isn't accurate but it looks good

I'm on Bigpond Cable Ultimate, north-side Brisbane.

I only have a 100Mb NIC in this PC, but the router is gigabit.

That should be accurate. You have the same connection as myself and two mates. We have all got up to 116mbps.

It's only been of late that I've been up to 116, but now it's constant. Not sure what they changed, or when...

Yeah mine was sometimes as low as 60 which made me cry a bit. I'm so used to the speed now that I have a sook when using other peoples slower connections.

Did you go for the 200GB or 500GB?

I bought a gigabit NIC for my PC today. Didn't realise that the onboard one was actually Gigabit.

Goes to show that at least it performs the same,

This was tested through the Modem, router and gigabit switch.
